Outstanding Treadmill

"I like to walk everyday and I used a Polar cheststrap with the wrist receiver to stay within my target heartrate. In southern Alabama, it's hard to walk outdoors when it's too hot, raining or cold. I also began to have some knee pain from the pounding on hard asphalt. With the Smooth Fitness 9.45ST treadmill, I can walk everyday no matter what kind of weather. With the treadmill's hydracushion, my knee pain is a thing of the past. Not only does the treadmill come with a brand new Polar cheststrap, I can continue to use my old cheststrap and the treadmill adjusts automatically to keep me within my target heartrate. It has 9 different user inputs for personal target heartrates. My wife and I can input our different weight, height, age, and target heartrates in the treadmill's memory. Absolutely amazing.
The treadmill is probably 10 feet from where I sit and watch the news. When my wife is walking on the treadmill, I don't even need to raise the volume on the television. The treadmill probably makes about as much noise as a refrigerator.
There's plenty of room on the treadmill's console for personal stuff. My wife and I have our water bottles, Ipods, towels, cheststraps, electrolye and there's still room for the television remote.
Don't worry about buying direct from Smooth Fitness. The shipping is free. Five days before my treadmill was delivered, I got a courtesy call from the shipper telling me when to expect delivery. They called again the day before, and again 30 minutes before the truck drove up. Two really nice guys placed the box in my garage. The box was in perfect condition.
It took me about an hour to put the treadmill together. Easy instructions and they gave me all the tools I needed. The first thing my wife and I noticed was how solid and well built this treadmill is. It's really heavy but easy to move because of wheels on the heavy end. The back end is light enough to raise up and then move like a dolly. When it's flat on the floor, it isn't going anywhere."

Amazing so far, but the computer manual is wrong

"Received our new Smooth 9.45 ST yesterday at 1:00PM and had it together and running in less than 2 hours, putting it together kind of slowly while I was working on the phone. The assembly guide is spot-on (which is rare anymore) and only had an issue with the screwdriver supplied stripping before the screws (but the screwdriver is free, what do you expect?). Power up, belt was perfectly aligned, tightened everything up and finally got a chance to put a quick mile on it tonight.
The suspension is going to be a Godsend to my knees, ankles, and feet. My *ONLY* complaint is the computer manual, as it's wrong in just a few places (how to pick a program is wrong as you have to pick user profile first, says incline changes values when it's really the speed, etc). Once you figure it out, you get over it quick. I'm SO glad I found Treadmill Doctor that led me to this, as I was about to blow almost $4,000 on a Precor which I don't think was as nice, as far as running feel goes."
