"I received my 6.45 about 3 weeks ago. When it arrived I was impressed by the build quality. The assembly instructions were easy. (Even the tools required to assemble it were included.) The parts fit together perfectly and the results are impressive.

I purchased this treadmill mainly for walking. But I believe joggers and perhaps runners would be satisfied with it. The 6.45 is very quiet. I don't see how it could be much quieter. I have been using the machine every day for about 2 weeks now. The belt tracking is easy to adjust and it stays centered. (Like it is supposed to.) The controls are easy to set. It is easy to read & understand. Did I mention how quiet it is?...

I suppose my only slight complaint is that the swing arm suspension is a bit firm for walking. It is probably perfect for jogging. Perhaps it will will loosen up after a while. Although I say it's a bit firm... I have not suffered any ankle nor knee pain. (More than I can say for walking on the street.)

Overall I am very pleased with my Smooth 6.45. It is indeed... Very smooth!"

"Purchased my Smooth 6.25 treadmill about 3 years ago with high expectations after reading the reviews. I am happy to say I have not been disappointed in any respect. In my opinion, this machine is comparable to any high quality commercial model even though it is not advertised as one. The 1st 2+ years the machine was used infrequently maybe once a week at a low level walking pace without any problems. The last 6 months daily heavy use of the 6.25 has proved the value of this machine and I am delighted to say not a single fault of any type has surfaced. This machine is very well constructed, very stable and extremely reliable and worth every penny that I paid for it on sale. It is so nice not to have to spend money for a fitness center membership with all the inconvenience that entails. It is comforting to me that I have finally purchased a product that lives up to its name and reputation and is problem free. Thank you Smooth Fitness."

Great Machine for the money Date: January 8, 2009
"I purchased the Smooth 645 after doing a ton of research, and it all payed off. The 645 is a great value with the 60" deck and the 3hp motor. I needed a folding unit and this one is perfect. It is very easy to lift and saves me some space in my condo."
