"We have owned the CE 3.2 for two years. It has been used for about 1 hour a least 5 times per week. This machine is excellent. We have had no problems. It is completely silent. A few squeaks started on the pedals, but a few squirts of a dry teflon lubricant every three months or so keeps these away. All of the functions work well. We would definitely recommend this elliptical to any one."

Glad I did my homework

"I have had the CE 3.2 for over a week now...and the wife and I love it. Assembly wasn't bad for one person, but two would make it go faster. Instructions were very detailed and easy to follow. As for the machine itself...the work-out it gives you is adequate, regardless of your physical condition. We had a treadmill for the past 6 years and the motor finally burned up. The elliptical trainer is so much easier on your lower joints, I don't see how we went without one for so long."

"I got my CE 3.2 and love it. It is perfect for me, I am 5'4" tall and with its 18" stride it is gym quality with a perfect stride for me. The thing that I like best about it is the wireless chest strap. This machine is great for shorter people."

"We no longer have a gym membership and the pounds were packing on. My favorite cardio machine at the gym had been an elliptical, because it was so easy on the joints and gave an incredible workout. I started researching ellipticals on-line and was overwhelmed by how many different brands were available.
I was drawn to Smooth Fitness, because I was impressed with the outstanding ratings they had received not only from the Consumer Reports Magazine but also by customers themselves. Another thing that drew me to their product line was that they have been in business for a number of years. They aren't a "fly by night" type of operation and wouldn't be going out of business any time soon.
The assembly process DID take two people...my husband and me. We put the elliptical together in about 1 hour.
There are two "negative" things that are kind of petty but that could be better...the "Smooth" decals that you stick on the machine aren't sticking very well- we will have to resort to super-glue to keep them from curling up. Also, it took us about 5-10 minutes to locate where the electric plugged into the machine. I scoured the assembly pamphlet and never found the directions on where to plug the elliptical in....maybe I overlooked them???
Our whole family is using this fantastic machine! Our ages range anywhere from 50 to 21. We all have loved it! For me it is a nice change of pace. I have been alternating between Spinning and the Smooth Elliptical. No more below 0*, outdoor winter walks for me unless I am really feeling like it!!!"
